Hmmm. Well. Mold is better as Ratchet. Head sculpt is very nice actually, shame it doesn't sit up enough (like Ironhide). Still just a poor mold though. Ambo mode looks like a crack egg shell. Too many screws visable in robot mode, awefull. Weapon doesn't suit Ratchet, Ironhide yes, but not Ratchet IMO. Had to get him, but this mold it a big disapointment to me.

Releasing Mini Autobots as Legends is wrong
I picked up Brawn and Beachcomber a few days ago. They're nice little toys, especially Brawn, whilst Beachcomber is one I'd been particularly looking forward to buying, the 1985 Mini Autobots being some of my favourite Transformers. But, I have a fundamental problem with them.
Mini Autobots shouldn't be Legends Class.
Mini Autobots were small Transfomers, both in terms of toys and story. Meanwhile, Legends are not small Transformers per se, but rather miniature versions of the larger, "proper" size toys/characters.
The price and size ratios of Mini Autobots to Autobot Cars is roughly equivalent to those of Legends and Deluxe, which suggests that the Mini Autobot Legends are already at their proper size. At the same time, the concept of Legends suggests that these are actually miniature versions of Brawn, Beachcomber etc.
Granted, there is no set scale to Legends - they are miniature versions, not scaled down versions, so the Mini Autobots could well fit within those parameters - but the apparent contradiction irks me.

Don't have any problem with it at all, personally. Transformers toys have never been in scale (heck, they were never in scale in comics/cartoons either) so it's never been an issue for me as an adult and never crossed my mind as a child. Imagination filled in the gaps.
Now, if it was a line where part of the appeal/gimmick/advertising was that toys where in scale to each other then fair enough. That would perhaps irk me.
But these wee guys? Harmless! In my opinion.

Technically, it's true that Legends are supposed to be mini-versions of the "regular" sized bots. But who cares? I much prefer Legends Beachcomber, Brawn and the like to downsized and over-simplified larger bots But - overall - I ultimately prefer the G1 Minibots...anyways Pete

Oh, no, it's certainly not a question of scale. Heh, thinking too much about scale (or lack of it) could cause a nervous breakdown. No, it's the clash of concepts that niggles me. (Ironically, I imagine the designers were trying to recapture the orginal Mini Autobot concept.) I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Incidentally, I've got Brawn and Beachcomber teamed up with Universe Ironhide and they do look like Mini Autobots next to him.

I'm happy to see the legends class be at least partially incorporated in to the main line and its better than getting deluxe sized minibots.

They could get away with Scouts. Personally, I'd like to see Cosmos and Warpath as Masterpiece. Though that would really screw up the sizes!

Universe Inferno's box names him as Generation 2. I know he was released in G2, but it's not the first thing most people would think of. I wonder why Hasbro made that decision. Did they forget about G2? Could they not decide on a suitable G2 character? Did they always intend putting Inferno out as G2?
Most curious.

I think the hose instead of ladder says it was intended from early on if not the very beginning. I'm surprised there wasn't something more distinct for G2.

I was looking at a picture of G2 Inferno in Generations earlier. I couldn't quite figure out what the thing on top of the ladder was supposed to be.
