Turn and Burn have now sorted out accom in sunny Cardiff the following week. Still need berths for the Sunday night, chaps? I am passing on the Doctor Who Experience. I suspect that all this Aldbourne talk may also be Doctor Who-related, but will no doubt be enlightened about that on the day. Was thinking I might have a trip to London and back for work on the Tuesday, but that's off now as I have a more important meeting in Cardiff. Re: trains - two single tickets are often cheaper than returns, and off-peak times are much, much cheaper than trains that get into or leave London around the rush hours. Your destination is "London Zone 1" if you want your train ticket each way to also be good for a single underground journey. Plus, book trains in advance, not on the day. Martin |

Saturday was what I was aiming for. Which resturant is it called again? I know I've been there before.
Will I also have to make my way there from the station, or will there be others meeting there at around 11am ownwards?

Curious as to what shenanigans you two adventurers will be up to during the week while I'm slaving over a lukewarm office, but I imagine that will be disclosed in the fullness of space and time. Hmmm this reminds me, I need to work out what I am doing on Saturday. I'm staying in the Express by Holiday Inn City Centre, just a few minutes walk from both the railway station and Bottelino's restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. Ken: town = station = my hotel = restaurant, give or take a few minutes walk. Phil's Death Fortress is further afield. Martin |

Kaptain: Isn't your destination the family in Surrey? Save yourself a few quid by travelling Swindon->Reading->Clapham Junction->Banstead(?) instead of going up to Paddington. Avoids Tube & Central London, costs less and takes about the same time.

09:58 from Keynsham to Swindon arrives at 10:39.
Can either get 17:30, 17:55, 18:30, 18:55 or 19:30 back to Keynsham. Not sure how I'll get back to the station yet.
