It must be a joke but I wish it wasnt, it really works and the writer at least is aware its stupid. Plus Classic Actionmaster Thundercracker (even if the wings are the wrong colour).

The more I look at this the more I want it to be real. In that one image Bugbite manages to be about 10 times more interesting than in last years comic.

Is it an April Fool's? The pages were "uncovered" the day before April 1st.
EDIT: Though after looking again at the blurb for Botcon's story, with all its "THIS IS UBER-IMPORTANT" pomp, it sure looks like an April Fool's rather than the actual one.

When I read that thinking it was real, I didn't like it because I found it naff and assumed this was being written by a FunPubber who thought they were doing something Super-Epic-Pompy-Awesome.
Reading it as a fan-made gag... well, I still find it naff but I assume it's meant to be.
The art's awesome either way.

I think it's done as a joke. The reason for this is some of the panels are almost redrawn panels. Goldbug on page 2 is redrawn from the splash from G2 issue 2 and the big panel on 3 is from the double page spread in G2 issue 1 which had Sideswipe and co teleporting in.
Still I'm never one to be upset at some Yaniger homaging!

If this is a joke I think FP might be getting worried as the general response to this has been rather positive, kinda raising the bar for the real thing. I dont know how they can top it for me.
