When I heard the story about the financial problems of MGM, the studio that oversees the official James Bond franchise, it got me thinking which studio was associated with the most stuff enjoyed by me, and which I'd go for if I could only have a DVD collection made up of one film/TV studio's work. It wasn't a very difficult question for me. Warner Bros produced Looney Tunes, Babylon 5 and The West Wing. Nothing can compete with that, even if one single studio was responsible for everything else in the world. How about you? Which studio's output do you value the most? Universal? Paramount? BBC? Mine is quite a mixture of studios. Looking at my DVD collection I'm quite fond of MGM when it comes to James Bond but Universal makes up quite a hefty collection of both my favourite 80's films and TV shows. Other favourite films were made by Columbia/Tristar (most by just Tristar but they were brought up by Columbia many years ago) and also 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros.
In conclusion I don't think I can actually pin down any one studio although the closest I would come to selecting one would have to be Universal.

In terms of sheer in enjoyment it's a three horse race between Hammer, Amicus and American International (who released the Roger Corman/Vincent Price films.

I don't really pay attention to the studio, but if I had to choose, Fox.
