Blimey! That looks brilliant!
Hello Sportsfans. Hope you are all well and free from parasitic infestations.
Revovations continue at pace. Be glad when it's finished.
Piglet's favorite 'toy' at the moment is an off cut of lino. She dances and slides on it. All those expensive toys.....
Y'all have a good week now!

Just back to work today after being off sick yesterday with some sort of infection thingy that had floored me. Currently dosed up with medication and back up to about fifty percent functionality, hopefully this trend will continue.

Strangely I have yet to come down with the cold despite working outside in the wind and rain all day yesterday, working outside in the wind today and also coming home to find that my father has a cold!

I'm in a little bit of pain at the moment. My right hip hurts every time I walk and working today was a nightmare. I felt fine this morning but soon after getting into work it started. I'm guessing I banged it somewhere and I'm hoping that it gets better by tomorrow.

I'm in Heathrow airport. The flight from Jeddah stopped off in Riyadh to take on 80% of its passengers. That was the shortest 9 1/2 hours of my life. Can't quite believe I'm back in Britain. The last three months seems like a very vivid, variably unpleasant and utterly, utterly bizarre dream.
The journey from KAUST to here was typical of the Davidson transport attempts. Nothing exploded or erupted and I didn't get stripped of all my cash by a taxi driver (not quite anyway) but he did manage to drop me at the wrong terminal from which I had to pay almost as much again for a bus to the right one. Next time I'll insist on a driver that I can hold so much as a basic conversation with.
Why the hell are the terminals ten miles apart, anyway?
So the plane left half an hour late but made up some time after Riyadh. It was during the delay in Jeddah that I realised that I had packed my shirt and jacket into my suitcase and would thus have no access to them in Heathrow during the four hour stopover. It was pretty cold in the corridor coming away from the gate. Heh. Cold. COLD! WOOHOO! Proper, non-artificial cold! How I've missed you!
I hope I can keep my emotions under control when I get to Glasgow. I don't like crying in front of my dad.
Do you think he'll mind if we stop by Toys'r'us on the way home? I've built up quite the shopping list over the last three months.

Welcome back to civilisation, Nick, or a reasonably facsimile thereof.
Facsimile of civilsation, that is, not facsimile of Nick.
I assume.
Race you to Scotland!
On your marks, get set... hmmm, breakfast.
Martin
PS Get well soon, Andy.

Welcome back Nick. It's been a hectic time at Turnbull Towers due to work changes so I am very glad that I am off today and all of next week. I can relax and draw and footer about the place.

The first day of Scotcon festivities kick off at 4 ish. Other than that I can't think of any other newsworthy event taking place.

Bogotan, hope the foot gets better soon. I am currently pottering about at work finishing what I need to get done this week so I can leave when we close at half-three so that the Scotcon festivities can begin.
Looking forward to the day off on Monday that I have taken as well - a three day weekend with Scotcon firmly ensconsed within it. Great!

Eee, Bogatan, hope it feels better soon. What you done to it? Stood on a nail or something? Kicked someone in the chops who'd annoyed you but who turned out to have a steel plate in his jaw? I symp with you, I have a dodgy shoulder at the mo which ain't getting any better unusually. Most disconcerting. A trip to the Quack might be in order. I fear damage.
Hello Sportsfans! After a few set backs, the rough men in leather shorts are nearly finished the massive refit of the Shockprowl home. Had to get cross with them a couple of times, but nothing too major. I've identified what I've come to know as "the Tradesman's stare"- when you complain about something and they just stare blankly back at you as though it's not their fault or something. A tip- when faced with "the Tradesman's stare" shouting at them resolves the situation. Heh heh heh.
Heavily into my Marvel at the mo. Been catching up as I do. I've come to terms with the death of the Sentry. Even though I still maintain I got the story I'd wanted and it was a good story, I do miss the crazy golden chap. Something my Sentry Brother Blue' mentioned sticks in my mind- the fact that we only really got to see him in one style of story. His 'death' had to happen though, can't see him being part of the Heroic Age as he was (he will return though one day! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *Blows raspberry at Doc'!*). Work has been very busy, but I've had a couple of rewarding outings recently which make it all worth while. And Piglet has been doing very well with school, learning letters and the like. She's recently learned to count back from ten, and every time finishes with "Lift Off!!!". Mrs Shockprowl blames me. Heh heh heh.
Have a good weekend my Cyber Chumbs! May it be filled with alcohol, good food and nakedness!
