That is a rather impressive toy I must admit. Not one I think I am likely to have room or money for, but a nice one nevertheless.

Purchoosled 3 'Utapau Shadow Troopers' today form TRU in Leeds. Add to the 3 I already got. Nice little unit now. The 3 I already had were sumat like 8 spuid on the internet ages ago. Thought these figs were exclusives. Nice version of the Clone Trooper.

They were. The current SAGA Legends wave was done as a fan poll to see which figures they most wanted re-released - criteria was the figure had to have not been rel;eased in the last year. This resulted in a troopbuilder tastic wave and Zev (Rogue 2 - the one that finds luke and Han in the snow and is in the cut scene where he flies his damaged snowspeeder through General veer's ATAT cockpit - was previously a pack in with a Snowspeeder). I feel Zev may be keeping us company for a while to come.
Curiously it's the only one I bought. I love rebel pilots me.

He also seems to be pretty much the only figure in the wave that's not a trooper of some sort.
Wait... Darth Revan? Does that mean the KOTOR-themed wave has been and gone? I never saw it anywhere.
EDIT: By the by, there's a couple of new sets in TRU. First of all there's the Death Star Conference room with a bunch of imperial officers round a table, one of whom is presumably being throttled in perpetuity by Darth Vader. Then there's Aayla Secura (the blue chick who got killed in both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith)'s starfighter which I gather only appeared in Clone Wars. Hasbro loves that mould more than Cheetor, it seems.

Darth Revan: About 6 months back Nick. You'll be hard pushed to find one now. I've only just seen this wave on the shelves in a few places recently (mine came off the interweb) but the Revan's are all gone. But while we're on the subject could you hook me up with a Force unleashed Battle Damaged vader and Shadow Emperor's Guard As for the jedi Starfighter www.rebelscum.com/TACaaylafighter.asp and the photo at the bottom. 7 it would seem. 7 ! 4 of which were on screen

According to a general email from one of my suppliers, the Y-Wing has been "cancelled by the supplier", which I assume means it will not be released in the UK. So anyone who was considering one had best look to the internet.

What the £30 one that's been an exclusive to TRU for over 6 months now ? Very nice it is too.

Possibly. I don't really follow the Star Wars releases, especially the large pieces, so I'm not sure. There is a Y-Wing in BBTS' Exclusives section, but it doesn't say who it's exclusive to. It does look nice.

Hm. That's not the one in the email, which, now I look at it more closely, is in OTC packaging. It has red and blue trim rather than the yellow on Rebelscum. As the OTC version is an older product, I guess my supplier had located a source that is no longer available, in which case please ignore my previous post. On the other hand, maybe they used the wrong picture, in which case, perhaps I shouldn't have bothered in the first place!

Well, courtesy of our own Nick I now have myself a Darth Revan and Darth Malak. Quite nice little figures they are too. But now I am faced with the question of where they should be displayed - in the living room, duelling with Luke and Mara, or upstairs at the head of a phalanx of Clone troopers.....

Whoops! Yes, Phil. That wave showed up last week. "Wave 5" it says on the boxes. One Revan, One Malak, a couple of Yodas and Shirtless Wode Anakins and some fat dude in an oversized bubble. Do you want anyone from this selection?
I picked up a Revan and Malak for myself, realised I don't have anywhere to put them, and passed them on to Karl who is a similar fan of KOTOR.

Just got a Walmart Droid factory set off Ebay. £60 + postage and no CUTA
Some nice stuff in there and a couple of surprises
1 of 6 Plo Koon is the ROTS version, R4H5 is the is a SAGA R2 with the periscope and glued on front panel
2 of 6 Vader is the ROTS slashing version. I'm not 100% sure about K3PX but I think it's TAC 4-Lom with a new head. Plenty articulated.
3 of 6 Han's the corrected vintage version - hood up and blue coat. Nice to see H got it right this time. R3P0 is the Throne C3P0 in red I think but I never noticed that the legs swivelled bellow the hips before.
4 of 6 Kit Fisto is the real surprise: It's the CW swimming version, with one of the new wired clocks. Nice. The R2 - again a SAGA R2 is a hommage to something, I've seen the orange and green and sandy colour used on the body together before somewhere - possibly a GI Joe toy. Help me out !
5 of 6 Watto is I think the E1 version, but bluer. R2T0 is a grey blue R4G9 mold
6 of 6 Luke X-Wing has silver painted straps this time. Lightsabre and hilt are painted different. R2 is the the R4G9 mold but with extensive battle damage on both dome and body - looks nice. Still want a clean R4G9 R2D2 with no extra gubbins on !
The build a figure is C3PX - an astromech with lots of guns stuck on. Articulation at ankle, knee, hip (doesn't have the hip joint I mentioned on R3PO) ball joint at the waist and neck (was that a ****** to put the head on) Shoulder and elbows are ball jointed, wrists swivel. Most articulated Protocol droid ever Weapons mounted his left lower leg, his right upper leg, his left hip and both forearms.

At long last, I have an original Salacious Crumb! Also, an Imperial Commander and some accessories. All for much cheapness at a car boot sale.

One of the local Woolies has in several figures from the upcoming Clone Wars movie line. For some reason they are priced £2 more than regular flavour SW figures (£7.99 rather than £5.99) despite not being any bigger or seemingly doing any extra stuff. The Clone Trooper looks alright, though the bug-eyed Yoda made me sad.

I'll tell you on Saturday. There's a huge quantity of new stuff being unveiled at the Clone Wars launch, not limited to the CW line itself.
I saw the new Millennium Falcon today when it arrived. The box is the size of a small car.
