Thundercats needs an Origins style line. They came close a couple of times, but the best they can hope for now is Super7 ultimates. I'd like the new comic series to be a success, and maybe something else other than Super7 get a license.

But you could push the ring in to make their eyes light up! Sight Beyond Sight! The ring gimmick was shite. -Ralph

They've done more waves than TF which isn't saying much.

Retro Luke - Book of Boba Fett picked up at the weekend. I do hate the wee lightsabers and think I will get some better looking ones for the Retro figs that need them. The Doctor report here and tell the rest of the chums your shame.

Which to be fair the actual figure 100% is, it just had a black cloak and not a brown one.
But still...

I thought you were supposed to be getting rid of star wars toys!

That is a nice toy. I know it's from Ahsoka, but to me it looks like concept art, which makes it tempting.
But not at that price.

Wait for a sale. All SW stuff goes on sale due to the mad price points. Over a hundred quid and no pilot! -Ralph

Ah, that would explain why so many people were excited to see it appear in the show. And I assume means you already have a pre-order in for it?

What? Well that's a load of bollocks just designed to create demand and ensure that something sells at a price that's way too high. I am absolutely not partaking of that.
Also, shouldn't this be a Haslab then? Isn't that exactly the same thing? Just with no minimum number of orders to drive desperate FOMO..?

Wonder how long it'll take to roll this approach to all the "Adult Collectible" lines and sizes? You want a Black Series? Made to order now mate. Deluxe TF? Sorry, made to order.

This sort of thing has happened a few times before though. I do see this from Hasbro's point of view; they are struggling to sell stock at the moment, clearancing just about everything. They don't want warehouses full of these costing them even more money. I'd rather it was 'buy it when we offer it' instead of 'you can't get one? well we didn't know how many to make because no one's buying our stuff these days, so tough' which is what I think will happen with Tidal Wave.

Hoth gear ESB Kenner Luke Skywalker (sans rifle) picked up for £6.00 at the comic swap meet yesterday. One of the two Lukes I had as a kid. Always liked the costume.

Interesting. That kinda falls half way between 'need' and 'bugger off' for me.
I said with this line I'd only go for the reissues of the original 80s toys, so I guess like the TV series waves I'm out on this one. Yet... yet... it is tempting. I did buy toys for Phantom Menace at the time the film came out.
But could I bring myself to buy the next inevitable wave for Attack of the Clones? Ew.
