Andy, glad to hear that the foot has turned out to be not too serious. Ligament stuff can be quite painful though so you have my sympathies.
As to that watch-phone..... When I got my current 'phone which flips open like Captain Kirk's I said that the only upgrade paths from there was an implant in my neck like Togusa or a chunky wrist-worn thing like Blake's..... I do not want to upgrade again, I do not want to upgrade again. I do not want to upgrade again...
Had a day of training on a complex reporting software package today. By lunchtime the blancmange that fills the space my brain should be was dribbling out of my ears. I must be doing something right because my boss seems to think I have the measure of the software. Hooray for the "poke it a bit and see what happens approach to learning".

Whoops, the bulb in the church projector has blown.
Can we get a replacement in by Sunday?
(actually Friday...... we've got a booking Friday night that wants to use it!)

Man. I hear projector bulbs cost a fortune. I hope its sorted, bud.
Was watching a Patrick Swayze movie I've never heard of before last night called Steel Dawn. It was surprisingly good for B movie quality budget. Swayze carried it. Also watched A Christmas Story too,

I'm off work today due to a lack of work (but I'm back in tomorrow) so I'm taking the opportunity to tie up a few loose ends on some of the things I've been doing recently like reading books and comic books, finishing off my Magnum Season 1 DVD boxset and general stuff that I do on my computer.

I seem to have hit a bizarre wall of fatigue which I cannot explain. Weird. Already, I long for the weekend, which is also weird because I'm not having a bad time this week or anything. -Ralph It's bound to catch up with you, all the new stuff going on, previous stresses. That might have something to do with it, now I come to think of it. I crashed out at 8:30pm last night, which just isn't me. -Ralph

I leave at 5 tomorrow morning. I didn't even get the stuff I planned to do in the UK done, never mind make any progress with the astonishing amount of work I have to get done in the coming weeks.
Six days just isn't enough. See you guys on the flip side!

She was referred to by some as his mail order eastern European bride.......

Good grief I am tired and stressed this week. I have been waning steadily all week. I think I am thoroughly looking forward to the weekend and a couple of quiet days at home.

Sorry to hear that Phil.
Spent today doing a bit of shopping, taking Susie for a stroll combined with drawing and lettering WWE as well as doing the art for a 1 page TF story idea I have had rattling around and best of all it's in TMUK continuity proper - albeit a far-flung corner...

Work team meal out this evening. I tend to avoid work related socialising whenever possible but I think I got through it ok.
Pretty shattered. I think recent events are indeed catching up with me. Tomorrow evening I plan to have a few relaxing liquers while watching some tat cartoons to unwind. A weekend of catching up on reading is also in order. No rushing about.

So I'm having a bottle of Crabbies now in an attempt to unwind and de-stress.

I was happy to find that Sainsburys 'Taste the Difference' Irish Cream Liqueur was down to £10. Quorn and beer battered chips in the oven. A lazy DVD evening awaits.
Crabbies is nice though rather sweet. One or two does fine.

I have had an .... interesting... week this week, culminating in a morning that I would categorise as "not good". I have come home this evening however to put my feet up, enjoy a quiet bottle of beer and perhaps watch Colditz later on before I head to my bed.
A quiet weekend calls I think, but I have some books lying around to be read, some television shows to be watched and some fan-fiction to be worked on. The perfect prescription for an enjoyable quiet weekend I think.
