Hi I'm new to this forum, and my main reason for joining is because I'm trying to sell my Masterpiece Megatron. I'm clearing out my collection of Transformers due to having recently moved house and having nowhere to store them. I usually list items on ebay (my current items for sale can be found here: shop.ebay.co.uk/carmodyjames/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1) but they shut down my MP megatron auction because of it being "replica firearms." I'd like to sell Megatron and can only really sell within the uk. He's in very good condition as he's never been transformed. Unfortunately, he has developed some rust on his right foot which I guess could easily be cleaned off if you knew what you were doing. Kremzeke is also missing, otherwise, he's completely as new. Here are some photos: I'm looking to sell him for £130 posted (special delivery). You can see by my ebay feedback that I'm not a dodgy guy. If you have any questions, reply here or PM me .

First of all hi and welcome to TMUK! Nice figure - i just wonder how on earth he got rust... did he go swimming lol?? ;D I fear however you will have a very hard time shifting him at that price when you take into account current prices from some UK online retailers for a brand new unopened one.

The mix of metals Takara used for the feet react with each other to form rust! I managed to sell mine for about £65 in the end I believe. Really? Thats bad quality control They don't all seem to rust (neither of the ones I've owned have rusted) and it takes a while to develop, so I imagine that particular problem didn't come up in quality checking. Like an accelerated gold plastic syndrome. I've heard rumours that they are changing the metal mix for the feet with the coming reissue of him, but nothing concrete. Anyway, I rather like this figure. Once you know what you're doing he isn't that fiddly or delicate, but you need to have at least memorised the instructions or you could be in trouble!
