Simple question: What should Optimus Prime's trailer turn into? Lots of people are liking the original trailer base, which is great but I've got a fondness for the Powermaster trailer even thought the execution could be better. So which do you prefer Prime's trailer turning into? |

I also have a fondness for the PM version, and I give it some slack as a base as it also needs to be a robot as well. But I think it does feel lacking without any action features.
I do like the "Combat Deck" theme for Prime's trailer, but I'd remove the Diaclone/human pilots aspect and make it more compatible with the Mini Autobots.

I was always very underwhelmed by the original Prime's trailer. The PM one was far better, with all the panels folding out.
In my mind, if it turns into armour, it needs to not seperate and be a single piece (ala PM / Armada Prime), or if it is a base it needs to not suck
Armada Prime's basemode is the worst, it could at least have had some little rooms for minicons.
Actually, Energon Prime's basemode is the worst, if his trailer tipping on end could be called that!

It's the same with RiD Prime, his 'base mode' is pretty terrible. Although, I still say armour is the way to go. Need to get my hands on Animated Wingblade Prime.

I don't really have a preferance. I will say that I would kill for a new CHUG Optimus which was inspired by the Powermaster design. I wouldn't care if it was armour or not, just a new toy which resembles each form please!

Primes' trailer should be a mobile base of some kind as far as I am concerned. The original trailer is such fun and has such great play value that it is the benchmark as far as I am concerned (although the CR/RiD Trailer is one I am quite fond of as well).
I think part of my disappointment with Armada Prime can be traced to the fact that his base mode is so lacklustre. (That and his dungaree's mode being a hideously designed mess lacking in any play value whatsoever).

I can not think of a single redeeming quality of superbase Prime. Saying the colours of the repaint are alright is the closest thing to one I can come up with.

Nope grew to hate them during Animated they tried to do too many things and almost always failed in all of them.
The simple one like Supercon Primes target master and the 4 headmasters were great as are the new PCC ones.
