Meant to watch as I saw the play a few years ago, but forgot and i was half way through by the time I remembered. Was it any good?

Just got finished watching it this evening - took a half-day off as I wasn't going to the Christmas lunch so I had some time on my hands.
Didn't think it was too bad at all - semi-modern dress (depending on if you see 1940's Russia as modern) but it seemed quite faithful to the text as far as my memory goes. Worth giving a spin I would say.

Nowhere near being my favourite Shakespeare play, so hard to deliver a verdict on the production. Suggest you give it a go on iPlayer, Andy, and judge for yourself.

Iplayer an my pc don't always get along, but I will try. Hopefully bbc4 will repeat it over Christmas though.
