Their strategy seems to be built around keeping plenty of tranches of episodes back so that every quarter or so they can unveil "all new episodes of [insert name of show]" as a promotional tactic. From that point of view it makes sense to make maximum use of their rights to rerun stuff. I saw them do the same with Brave and the Bold. It took The Hub a year to get through the first series of TF Prime. True, but pauses had to be built in as the episodes were completed with very tight timescales for airing. At Botcon attendees got to see episode 20, which had just completed production. On telly, episode 15 had just aired. It would have been impossible to air the season straight through without gaps as the series was still in production. It does look like the channel went live before the show was ready to go. -Ralph

Prime will remain at 5pm on CN Too, which would seem likely to be more repeats. Which was on last night? I missed it but expect it was 1.2. so 1.3 today.

Even a week seemed unreasonably long!
Thats why it blew my mind when I discovered American comics are monthly rather than weekly!

I imagine the fragmentation of children's television has something to do with it, too. I wonder how loyal children are these days? It's not like back when we would (and only could) watch Children's BBC or Children's ITV, and then we could only watch for two hours a day, not all day, every day like now. Perhaps Cartoon Network assume, rightly or wrongly, that children aren't going to follow the same series day in, day out. There's more competition from games and the internet, too, which also ties in.
Pete, I forgot to watch it yesterday.

Just to annoy even more, Cartoon Network has now stopped listing the individual episode titles for Thundercats in the TV Guide and instead has a generic description, as they've done for Prime all the time.
Prime now also has a Cartoon Network Sunday 7.30pm slot.

I've lost count now how many times they've reshown all 13 epsiodes. At least when ITV2 showed Cybertron it was no repeat & all new. But it had already been shown on Sky anyway.

In leiu of a TF Prime general thread, I might as well post this here! The Hub is doing a 'Naughty vs Nice' campaign, where they pitch characters from all their shows together, and the winners get a marathon on tv. (Naughty=villains and nice=good guys, you see) Optimus Prime is in the final... but he's up against Pinkie Pie and so is getting completely annihilated (it's 11%-89% at the moment) Megatron got knocked out a while back, I can't remember who he was up against though. www.hubworld.com/hubworld/content/show-special-content/naughty-or-nice/indexround1.html?adFree=true

ep 1.26 should be on 7/3/12 - don't know what they are showing at 15:30 each day
I've got the first 13 on a tape lasting 5hr 37 - so i'm going to spend 3hrs tonight & rest tomorrow copy the episode - that's removing all the adverts & also checking that I tape the trailers for the series to - i might have Kreo ad in there.

I've got all 13 episodes of Beast hunters saved on my sky box. But what should I do?
Get the 2 DVD's when they are released at £10.99 each April - ep1-7 June - ep8-13
Or I can save £20 & burn them right now to 2 DVD's (I can fit 7 episodes on 1 DVD). I've got the blank DVD's has I am recording Rescuebots (got upto #49 & waiting for series 3 to air to fill up next disc) & RID2 (just need upto ep14 to fill 2nd disc)
