Oooh that's interesting. You can get much the same effect by watching City of Death and Shada though  (For those who aren't aware, Adams, bless him, cribbed large elements of plot and characters from two of his Doctor Who stories.) |

Saw the first 20 minutes in bed and then fell asleep. I dunno, I read the books once but was never madly impressed by them, so maybe I'm not the best judge.
