Should Dinobot have remained a Predacon?

Going from the Beast Wars cartoon series - right from the start. If Dinobot didn't switch sides. How would the future events have been effected?

But it's really looking at Dinobots character. He is mainly Grimlock form mixed with Starscream & Bludgeon fighting skills. But would he had bene on his own like how Tarantulas was in series 3.

If Dinobot hadn't defected, I don't think he would have survived the first season.
He's too intelligent (compared to the other Predacons), too strong, and too dissatisfied with Megatron's choices.

He was the only legitimate threat to Megatron's command.
So yeah. If Megatron didn't find a way to kill him, then he would have ended up a Ronin. The predacon equivalent to Tigatron.

Actually that might have been fun, Dinobot and Tigatron forging a friendship through their mutual animosity.
