A fairly quiet week for me. Just trying to relax, awaiting news on my blood tests next week. Managed to get out running a couple of times but between weather and poor light it looks like that is going to become harder over the coming weeks.

Not bad, though still reeling from the shock of losing Old Hub! But...it...will...not...die...

So how has your week been? Not bad. Had an iffy bit in the middle when I got cross with my sister but that's been patched over. Yesterday I went to London and back for two meetings in Westminster. You know, the kind of meeting where the chap you want to talk to looks at his personal organiser and says "I'm meeting the Secretary of State at 2.30, but I can fit you in at 2." Afterwards I spent an hour looking at the terracotta soldiers on loan from China to the British Museum. They're only there for a few months folks, and worth seeing if you're in the city. Not worth making a special trip for, though. Weekend should be fairly relaxing. Storytelling performance at the WMC tomorrow lunchtime, and then a bit of easy voluntary work at the National Museum observing visitors and recording what exhibits they take an interest in, etc. Well, a change is as good as a rest, I always say. Hope everyone else has a good weekend. Martin

So how has your week been? -Ralph Fair to say that it has been rather up and down to be honest. Some parts of it have been pretty good, other parts have been a little bit stressful. On balance it would be fair to say that I am glad that we have reached the weekend. That said I had a fairly productive meeting with my boss this afternoon, and managed to get a surprising amount of work done afterward, so things did start looking up later in the day. Karl

I've been off work all this week due to lack of work. I think the boredom has taken its toll. I spent an hour this afternoon backing up weeks 1 - 44 from poor health hub in case it expired.

Where we at?
2nd interview at the Top Gear test track on Thursday. A mere formality, so new job on the way finally after seven years.
Odd relationship with Beth the former partner. Did I make a big mistake?
All in all unnervingly up in the air but progression requires it.
Elliott.

The sky looks pregnant with the possibility of rain again. This irks me. It's the weekend, damn it.

Here it is beautiful sunshine. Lovely. Andy Must be a Fife Triangle effect - over in Falkirk there is a grey roof across from horizon to horizon. Fortunately I have a fair amount of insidey things to be doing this afternoon - plus "Thunderball" is on the tele - so I shouldn't need to worry too much about the weather. Karl

I joined Facebook and spent several hours tracking down old school friends*. They all look old.
* On Facebook, not in real life. I got a nasty cold the last time I stalked someone and can't be bothered to do that type of thing anymore.

Bumped into a former work colleague and caught up over a convivial pint. Apparently, my old workplace continues to go to the dogs.

Working on the program or just at Dunsfold ? Dad is *finally* back in Kingston hospital, who are assessing him for what rehab he needs.

Not bad, though still reeling from the shock of losing Old Hub! But...it...will...not...die... -Ralph Yeah me too. When I became brave and started posting of the American TFans I thought it was great, talking to other TF fans. But then I found The Hub and it was so much better! Not least cosa the characters on here! I've had busy week. Had plasterers in finishing off the last of our house renovations. Can't wait to get it all done after 2 smegging years! (we're slow workers). And I've been working over bonfire/firework main weekend. Very busy. No one actually who had come a cropper with a firework (touch wood, wkend not over yet Shockprowl!), but lots of "related" jobs, such as the young lady who got her foot run over by a car whilst looking at fireworks instead of where she was going. Seems as well that people view this weekend as an extra reason to get drunk. Soooo why I joined the Ambulace Service...
