Mates 30th was fucking ace. Drank and talked all night. Surprise visit from an 'ahem' lady friend as well. Bit chuffed.

Shock! You mean, a Lady of the night?! Blimey!
My last shift tonight as a person in my early thirties. Next time I come to work on Thursday I'll be in my mid thirties. I class up to 33 as early, 34,35 and 36 as mid, and 37 onwards as late.
Ah, the icey fingers of Mother Time, creeping, crawling up my spine! (I just made that up! Can you tell?)
*Shrugs* I'm not too fussed. Life is pretty good at the moment. Masterpiece G1 Starscream is on his way to me, as is a boxa goodies from Primenova. Going out for lunch and a "swift half" with my family and my best mate and his family tmw. Steady away.
Oh, Elliott, for your info, had a Lady last night who dislocated her ankle getting out of a car in high-heals. Made me thinka ankle injuries. Thankfully she wasn't in too much pain with it, surprisingly. My crewmate and I watched the A&E doctor "reduce" it back into possition! EEEEEWWWW! Reckon that'll be sore for a day or two!

Mid-thirties is a pretty good age range to be in I reckon. It certainly seems to be working out reasonably well for me. (But then, I figure that once you get beyond the age of 21 then you can legitimately claim to be "over 21" for the forseeable future. A bit of a mixed week, but it ended well, with some banter and watching of televisual stuff with some friends. The only real fly in the ointment was getting out of Fife and back to Planet Falkirk - my commiserations to those who live in Fife, they really are saddled with some of the worst public transport links in the country. You gloss over your stairbound japery on Friday night Karl.... Andy Not so much gloss over as realise that others are better placed to tell that story than I. After all, I really only know it from some of the onboard telemetry and from the dings and dents which will need to be ironed out of myself. I figure that those who actually witnessed it are probably in a better position to tell the story of what happened. Karl

This is true.
Last week was a bit, er, best forgotten. Weekend was better, at the dark haunt that is Turnbull Towers. Some fine, fine drunken japery from the Thurgood.

I'm sorry I missed it. I spent my Saturday being trampled by the hordes at Toys'r'us. It was beyond belief in there. The manager gave us a stern lecture at the morning briefing about the amount of sick days people are taking lately (usually to recover from hangovers after going out on the bevvy all night with other staff before a 9 o'clock start the next day). Then he started chundering mightily around lunchtime and... had to go home sick. Irony?

Your boss sounds like a git, Nick.
Busy night so far for my last shift as an early thirty person. Two and a half hours to go then I'm free! For three days anyway.

Hmmm. One has to wonder whether this was hypocrisy on your bosses part. Or whether fate has a particularly cruel sense of humor.
