the other head because it's more accurate, so I'm looking to replace mine. I seem to recall a Blake's 7 episode that was along those lines... *looks suspiciously at Pinwig* Karl

13 Doctors set appears to be coming to TRU for £100, but in a limited run (still suggested to be 600 units) so possibly unlikely to reach a sale price. Meanwhile, Underground have shown this 9th series 12th Doc:

I will have to get one of those Capaldi's as the head sculpt is new. They've used the worst head for the Tennant figure, but it's the most recent so the moulds will still be in reasonable nick. Wonder why they're reissuing the Tennant console set? Seems an odd choice.
So little coming in the 5.5" line now... A couple of variant figures and a reissue set.

Three more B&M three packs this summer it seems, but nothing exciting variant-wise for anyone who already has the original releases. Nice themes for the second two, but the first has a new series Sontaran with two classics. I think the Tomb Controller has only ever been available as a build a figure before. I reckon the Attack Cyberman is a variant because the last one had a removable face plate.
Shame they aren't as cleverly thought out as the third doctor set last year.
Monster Set – Due into stores end of July / early August Sontaran (Skorr?) Attack Cyberman (Rogue) – Fixed Mask Non Weathered Cyber Controller – Tomb of the Cybermen
4th Doctor Set – Due into stores end of July / early August 4th Doctor in long dark brown coat (No Panel) K9 (Greyer Version) Leela
9th Doctor Set – Due into stores end of July / early August 9th doctor in leather jacket Rose (No Spiders) Auton

First image of the B&M sets due end of the month. Not very clear. Just confirms what we knew before - the only one of these nine figures that isn't a straight reissue is the Attack Cyberman, because that one when it came out before was a green gunked up version with a removable faceplate. This is the first time there's been a clean Attack style Cyberman. But... It needs a clearer picture to be sure what it is. The first 'Attack' Cyberman released was a black, stealth version, but it was a repaint of the Earthshock one so its jaw and boots were wrong. Then they did the gunked up one, which fixed the boots. So the question is - does the B&M one have the Earthshock head, or the right head with the faceplate just stuck on. The Tomb Controller is a good reissue as it was a BAF last time round. But you can't help but feel the monsters set is somewhat random - two classic Cybermen and a new series Sontaran? what? The other two are nicely themed for what they are, and the Tom set is brilliant if you don't have those figs, but there's no attempt here to slip in something for the collector, like the Pertwee set last year with the variants in. Disappointing when so much could be done with the huge number of moulds that exist for this line.

B&M sets are appearing in shops: It would seem this release has some minor paint variations - K9 is in a shade closer to screen accurate than the last one, Tom's coat is brown as opposed to purple/brown when this figure was last used, and Leela has blue eyes instead of the brown this one had last time. The Tomb Controller is a paint variant, much darker head and stronger brain detailing, but it looks like although the Attack Cyber has the right feet, he has the glass jaw head from the Earthshock one. Maybe. Dunno. The jaws on the Attack Cybers were a darker colour than the rest of the face. Might be right.
