What's better: transforming weapons (e.g. Targetmaster Nebulans or Action Master partners) or water-squirters?

I like Targetmasters as we get little buddies for the bigger toys then

Water squirters get yuckety inside if you use them

It depends how it's done. Sometimes turning into a weapon is amazing (Nightstick) othertimes it looks dodgy (some of the PCC minicons).
Sometimes watersquirting is done well, sometimes bad. All the aquaspeeders I've had have had horrid and cloggy tubes that have gone nasty.
The best watersquirting gimmick I've seen is the Kobra Khan one from He-Man that squirted a thick, fine mist. Fantastic, I'd like to see that in a TF
I guess the answer is 'variety is the spice of life'

I've not come across a good water related transformers gimmick. Maybe if they had something like the keyring sized supersoakers fitted they would be a bit of fun but the aquaspeeders and Bw Megatron were all a bit feeble.
Targetmasters gave me whole seperate toys to play with and I did get a huge amount of value from them even if the excution wasn't isn't always great.

Transforming weaps for me. I don't mind a good squirt myself, but there's more play value in transformable weaps in my humble but righteous opinion.

Ooh. This poll is much closer than the last one!
What really upset me was the tech specs of the Targetmasters had low "firepower" levels! :/

I appreciate that now, but when I was 9, I equated them with having higher firepower levels.

That's a good question! To the Tech Specs Archive!

I was behind adding Targetmasters to the MUSH which I used to admin on a few years back. We followed the tech specs as closely as possible; it was set up so that whilst the characters all have an integral firepower, their individual weapons ALSO have a weapons rating, so their targetmaster guns were powerful, whilst if they used other weapons, they would be weaker.
I mean, while Sureshot can use his targetmaster gun, he can also use a little random pistol he picks up, and that won't be as great, will it?

According to his Tech Specs, Cyclonus's firepower and skill drop after he becomes a Targetmaster! But no matter, they must surely rise again after Nightstick is crushed by Megatron!

Most of Cyclonus and Scourge's firepower is surely built into their jet modes rather than their handguns.
Oh well.

Now, what IF you had a line of Transformers with water squirters and battle damage hidden by that water-colour-changing feature. Would water squirters win then? :v

Only if there were a way to keep the pipes clean.

Only if there were a way to keep the pipes clean. Again, I want to highlight my love for the Kobra Khan style squirter. Barely any pipe and easy to keep clean.

I have never had a shot of the Aquaspeeders, but the advert makes them look AMAZING.
Never had a shot of Kobra Khan either.
