Really tricky... On the one hand Headmasters do detach and drive the vehicles and show stats on the robot chest, but Powermasters unlock the transformation and Targetmasters change into guns... Hrm. Why has that not been a PTH-master where he has 3 Nebulans that does each? PM Prime was very nearly going to be a Headmaster too, quite late into development (that is why he has the little compartment for Roller in his trailer, and his tech spec still mentions Roller, Roller was going to be a robot and his head tfwiki.net/wiki/Image:EarlyPMPrime3.jpg

That is neat, but I'm more interested in the extra leg and arm articulation that the picture implies!

Cool, I haven't seen that before. Though the combined form looks not so much as Prime and Roller as Prime with rollers.

Cool, I haven't seen that before. Though the combined form looks not so much as Prime and Roller as Prime with rollers. Oooh I am half wrong, as the little compartment in his trailer appeared in the very first concept which didn't have Roller in. But it IS on the patent which you can see here! v3.espacenet.com/publicationDetails/originalDocument?CC=JP&NR=63132686&KC=&FT=EDrawings start on page 6. This was the original plan, where the little Prime robot would also turn into a plane, and the large robot head was attached to the trailer hitch (which explains why that is the size and shape it is). The rest of the base mode seems to have stayed the same. Someone fancy kitbashing one?

I already have a pile of hacked up primes thanks to Phils review thread, if I ever get back to it I might add the headmaster feature though I was quite liking PMOP with a much smaller combined mode head.
Aint trying the jet mode besides being bonkers putting a cock(pit) that big between prime legs is just wierd and wrong.
It does finally provide me with the missing link between PMOP and Starsaber, the supermodes were similar, but the prime like leaders evolution to a jet always struck me as a being an unusually large evolutionary step. Little primes jet mode clears that up.
Also the original combined form including the head flipping over is almost exactly the same as Starsabers. The head even looks kinda like Sabers brainmaster head.

Er... correct, hadn't thought of that. OK, name _two_. Martin I guess we're talking Targetmaster in the traditional sense, so Browning and Sixknight don't count?

It is of course a matter of debate, as yesterday proved, but the answer I was looking for was Cancer. A human can't be a Headmaster because its head doesn't come off and transform... but it can have a transforming gun! Martin
