An astonishingly good film, and I seriously doubt anyone deserves the best actress Oscar more than Natalie Portman does for this one. I can't recommend this film enough - although be warned, it is pretty disturbing. As in, Exorcist-level disturbing.
Go see.

I've not seen it yet but plan to check it out. I've already added it to my rental list in case I don't catch it at the cinema.

Saw it yesterday in the gap between knocking off work and seeing King Lear through National Theatre Live. I can't say I enjoyed it while watching it (generally speaking I can't think I'd ever actually _enjoy_ a film about a hallucinating, self-harming person being driven slowly to her death by obsessive ambition) but it was powerful, and I was glad I'd seen it _afterwards_. I'm going to show off and say I thought Jennifer Lawrence was better in Winter's Bone.
Black Swan was excellent though.
