Have you ever had a moment where you've been in a conversation where it comes out that you have never seen an extremely famous film that boggles other people's minds?
Make your admission here so other folk can give a good reason why it should be seen/continually avoided.
I've never seen Brighton Rock. This came up during a discussion about the remake. Is it any good?

Never seen the Godfather Trilogy. And most horror films you can think of probably.

Whilst I'm very aware of them and would probably recognise a clip from them easily enough I've never seen: Any of the Rocky films Any of the Rambo films Star Treks 1-9 Die Hard 1-3 Any James Bond apart from the last 3 (last Brosnan and two Craig)
I tend to have many major things I just haven't got round to them, up until a couple of years ago I hadn't even seen any Indiana Jones until I stayed at Martin's place and he made me watch one, and it was very good.
Brighton Rock is one of the classic British films from 50s and 60s, along with stuff like Saturday Night, Sunday Morning and The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner. I've never seen any of them, though they all have stellar reputations.

I'd recommend the Godfather films (the first two anyway) Andy but it depends what you're into.
Oh, and I don't like celebrity voiced cartoon movies and rarely watch them. Never seen any of the Toy Story movies for instance, or any of the eastern ones like Kiki's Delivery Service.

Agreed!
I have not seen any of the Godfather stuff either. I've not seen Dune or Avatar.

Lots for me as well.
I am another who has never had any interest in the Godfather films, and I have never gotten around to watching any of the Die Hard's either.
Others of the top of my head:
Titanic, Avatar, Blade Runner, E.T (I have saw bits and pieces but never the entire film),.

Avatar is meh. It's crazy to me that Aliens and The Terminator DVDs are now being sold with stickers that say "From the director of Avatar". I think these films are easily good enough to stand on their own genre defining merits.
I hadn't seen The Godfather Trilogy until last year when the Blu Ray box set fell in price and I'd read good things about the quality of the remastering and wow. Pacino's character's journey in the first film and De Niro playing the young Vito Corleone in Part 2 were amazing. You have to watch these films if you haven't.
I've never seen Titinac either, but it's never come up in conversation as something that I should watch.
My missus keeps saying I should watch Sex and the City, but strangely, I haven't.

Can't believe some of the films folkes haven't seen! Godfather? Dude?! DIE HARD?!?! (not that I'm having a go, I'm just goofing around!) BUT, DIE HARD?!?!?!!!!!

ET is another one I've never seen. I don't know if it's my imagination but it's never seemed very widespread to me, it doesn't seem to ever be on tv and I never spot it browsing for dvds. Unlike other Speilberg's like Jaws and Jurassic Park, the latter was on TV last weekend I think. Actually I'm not really a huge Speilberg fan and have never seen Close Encounters either.
