I have to give this one to Powermasters I think. It is a close run thing and they have only just edged their way out from amongst the scrum that is fighting for second place,but I think the fact that Powermaster Prime was the first Optimus Prime I got may have helped them nose ahead.

If the Transformers in question could vote, then the Pretenders would win because there are more of them.

Hmm, as I tie breaker I'll use the same reason as 1989. Powermasters because I finally got to own Optimus Prime. I still remember my Mum telling me she'd been at the local toy shop where she had been told there was going to be a new Optimus Prime toy, it was completely out of the blue and was thrilling.
