I have some questions about Optimus Prime's trailer.
It was said that in the Marvel Comics Transformers storyline that Optimus could split his "self" into three components: the robot, Roller and the Combat Deck.
When Optimus's robot was sent to Cybertron via the spacebridge in the circa issue 100 "Prey" story, what happened to Roller and the Combat Deck? Did they become dormant, or was some of Optimus still there?
After Prime's robot was destroyed by Ethan Zachary and blasted off into space, what happened to Roller and the Combat Deck?
And what happened to them when Optimus returned as a Powermaster?

ntfa.net/universe/english/index.php?act=view&char=Optimus_PrimeI quote: "The Optimus module is by far the most important component of the trio. Although he could survive without the other two, they could not survive without him." That seems to answer your question, I think. However, the TF Universe entry for Powermaster Optimus Prime also mentions Roller, which suggests that either a new Roller was built (if the original was destroyed in 'Plague of the Insecticons') or the original was repaired and linked up to the new Optimus module. They are like the zombies in city of fear - need an outside source, so could this mean others could controll them?
