So about 25-30 years ago I got my first Skids. Well some of him, a head, chest, left arm and right door to be precise. He was a wreck, but ive always had a fondness for junkers. I've always hoped to find him some legs or another arm. And last year while browsing yahoo Japan it finally happened. Well almost. I found the legs of a No 6 Honda City R. After 3 months on a boat they arrived last week and today I found Skids. And after a brief surgery I present Skoots* *Name maybe subject to change.

I keep meaning to see how my G2 Electro is doing. He was sat in his package looking quite intact last time I looked, but that was a few years ago, at least. I don't know how long since I transformed him. I think I'm now scarred to look. I stumbled across Electro last week. I dodnt risk transforming him, but he appears perfectly intact. Happy days!

Ive spent some time this afternoon injecting glue under the printed layer of Deathsaurus's box. the print on one of the side panels has essentially seperated from the other layers and if you scrape it, it just crumbles.
I'd started applying the starch paste under riased pieces and trying to put some weights on top to squash it all back down, it kind of worked but the glue was still sticking to the non stick sheet I put under the weights in enough places that I was losing image to it. And even when that part worked it was very hard to get the glue under without moving or damaging the print in the first place.
So today I tried a much more watered down paste and tried injecting under the print layer, it seemed to work okay though theres still the issues of moving or damaging the image its a bit more manageable.
And in places where there wasnt really a way to get the needle under I squirted a layer along cracks and breaks spread it around a bit with a plastic pallette knife and then removed the excess by laying a piece of tissue over it and letting it soak it up a bit.
Hopefully when it dries theres enough glue in place to hold things together.
