Putin's been pressing Cold War 2.0 for years now. Improving missile systems in particular as well as renewed dedication to "Lets you and him fight" tactics in diplomacy.

Eeek. Didn't know about this. I drive past Menwith every time I go to work. It's important to keep a strong military capacity, plenty of nutcases in the world, but a visit back to the old days must surely be avoided at all costs. I think these 'upgrades' are going too far. Very disturbing. Sooner I move to Moon Base Alpha the better.
