Which is the best Bumblebee made from the classics mould? I've got all five and none of them is quite perfect: Classics Bumblebee white markings all over him and grey wrists Henkei Bumblebee (scroll down) Gold chrome in odd places Legacy Bumblebee black markings and blue windows RTS Bumblebee orange with black markings United Bumblebee gold bling. Seriously if you've not seen this in the plastic yet you don't know how bling it is |

Love the darker yellow (its not orange) of the RTS one though, and gold well thats for Goldbug. |

The grey and white of the classics BB annoys me.
RTS BB is too Orange/amber to look right. If it were the right shade of yellow.....
United BB is fine as a G2 BB/Goldbug but not as Classics BB
So it's a two horse race between Henkei & Legacy.
Legacy has clear blue windows and the same markings as Classics but in Black.
Henkei lacks the markings, but has a gold chromed engine top and spoiler with clear windows. His upper arms andhands are gun metal grey rather than black
In many ways Henkei is a bit too plain. The markings on Legacy break the yellow up a bit and I prefer the blue windows. So while Henkei might be closer to original BB I think Legacy gets my vote. He still could do with the seats being painted black.
Arse, where did that crack in Henkei BB's windscreen come from?

I only have the original but having seen most of the others at one time or another I don't think any really stand out. All seem to have some issue. But having seen your United Bee I have to say that's the only one I really have any interest in acquiring. It doesn't make a great G1 BB, but it looks good.
Henkei is probably the most G1 like but without the marking it looks really dull. So I stick with my classics BB and if I get United BB it will join my G2 collection.

I don't mind the grey forearms, if anything I prefer them to yellow. Would rather they were all black. So I'm going with the original.

Black would work for me, and would fit if all the other BB parts in grey were recoloured with it, but Looking at TFWiki it seems as if both yellow and black forearms have been used in the comics while he's consistantly yellow in the cartoon. The silver seats bug me, I'd much prefer black. |
