Spurred on by the 92 sub group thread, because 92 is one of my favourite years for Transformers, which is your favourite year?
I've quoted some examples for each year but it's by no means exhaustive.

1990 for it has my two favourite TF ranges: Micromasters and Action Masters!

As much as I'm loving the 'Classics' stuff, it has to be '84 for me. 'Cause nothing can beat them awe, that wonder, when Transformers first appeared in my life, mind and hand.

Impossible to decide - most of the G1 years were exciting as everything was new all the time and the comic kept promoting them and getting you excited about newer toys. Other years produced some absolute gems of toys. Euro Exclusives were great! Beast Wars was great!
I think it was around 2003 when we were given the first Binaltech (Smokescreen), then a Unicron toy and then Masterpiece Prime which I remember appreciating so much.

1984 - 86. No contest. True, newer design/engineering techniques have made them more posable etc but those where the glory years even though I have much newer stuff like Unicron, Universe, Classics etc, 84 - 86 had some really cool items and it was all new to the UK back then.

1984, without question. If that year was bad, none of us would still be here!

Realistically, 1984, or maybe 1985, from a personal/nostalgia point of view, 1987 Headmasters year. I've voted 87.
