Good Friday then, it seems.
So which kind of egg are you looking for this weekend? With or without additional toy/mug/tat?
And does anyone give presents for Easter? It seems to be a random thing. My parents did small presents at Easter when I was a kid, I think because my hated day of aging is close to Christmas, so the rest of the year was pretty dry gift-wise.

Good Friday then, it seems. I've always found Good Friday to be an odd one. Your choices, as a Christian, are either Walk of Witness, obviously beyond me now, or some interminably long me meditative service, also physically beyond me now. I favour a quiet day at home. Easter Day might be a bit interesting too, the first one for many years I won't have served at as the regular week 3 projectionist will be around. I know there's a Milky Bar egg for me in the house, and Jonathan has made some white chocolate rocky road eggs.

White chocolate rocky road! superb!
So you have quite a white chocolate theme going on there.
I wonder if eggs this year have been Brexit downsized. We will probably not realise.

Dark chocolate all the way here - big After Eight egg taunting me from my sideboard.
I paid full price for that, but I only paid half price for the Christmas pudding bought in the days after Christmas, which I also plan to devour on Easter Sunday!

Just been in my local big Tesco. They have three assistants in the egg aisle shoveling boxes onto shelves and they are *flying* off. They must have a ton out the back so I have high hopes of some discounts if I can get there at the right time.

Never found it anywhere either. Was there one? Yes. Mr Primenova of this parish found them and shared pics on the Book of Face. The box was in the shape of Prime in truck mode (like the way Yorkie Easter eggs are packaged). -Ralph

My Tesco of the fabled discount Transformers traditionally has many eggs left for many days. They did have some of the Transformers ones in at one point so fingers crossed they have some cheap ones left.

It used to be the case that the day after Easter was a great day for shops would heavily discount their leftover chocolate eggs. Then it changed to stock was just taken off shelves the next morning. Then it became the case that stock was removed overnight so no cheap Easter chocolate for Ralph.
Imagine my fury this morning in Asdaland when the Easter egg stock was being removed by staff from shelves the day *before* Easter to be replaced with different seasonal goods. This while customers were trying to buy the fucking things! Not the staff's fault: almost certainly an idiotic directive from on high.
Sigh.

Phil will download the photo, due to Burns' privacy settings, trim it, upload it to the TMUK folder on his flickr account and provide the link Still at least I wasn't actually in bed tonight. The sooner I have a working desktop back upstairs again, the better.
