Precessive Mugen (Modern)
Modern Precessive Mugen should not be confused with the mythological style described in the writings of some off-brand Circuit Sects. Indeed it could be described as less of a refined, codified fighting style and more of a banner term for a series of similar disciplines developed independently by many 'bots on both sides of the war. A synthetic style, Precessive Mugen merged techniques taken from a number of different styles with the principles of mobility which underlay the original development of Mercury Stream and Whirling Cog Metalikato. Rather than an entirely independent fighting style modern Precessive Mugen represented an application of existing techniques to the new realities brought about by the development of the Morph-core. The body of techniques was aimed at finding ways to utilise the ability to transform in armed and unarmed combat. Practitioners utilised the speed and agility of their vehicle modes to derive impetus that a swift transformation could channel into shattering blows or tackles able to topple the strongest opponent, and using rapid partial transformations to evade enemy attacks.
By its nature modern Precessive Mugen has no recognised schools, organisation or codified body of techniques. Indeed some of those who have been identified as its greatest practitioners would argue that there is no such thing at all, and others that it was just a fancy name for common sense.
