Another shock. I first saw the news on Twitter and thought someone had made a mistake and things had gotten out of hand, but then I saw it on the BBC site... damn.

Great writer. I saw a programme about him and how he came to rise to the top. Both infinitely lucky and infinitely talented. I've been enjoying the prequels to Only Fools and Horses. I hope they can continue but only if the influence of Sullivans style continues.
