I don't know why. I'm obsessed with AMTC, we all know that and Erectors recent prominence combined with picking the toy up at a car boot sale led me to recast the season one titles.

Anyway Erector

It's a bit messy, I started much neater, but it was taking about an hour for each frame of TC transforming and running. I got faster but at 30 frames a second (about 12-15 unique frame) and with a total of about 20 seconds of animation I had to get a bit messy.

And yes I know Mirages big rocket launcher is still visible but I didn't have the time to figure out how to hide it. I contemplated moving Erector so Mirage could be fully seen as well, but it looked too cluttered.

AMTC is a straight repaint of TC and SW. I never noticed before but Starscream is peripheral even suffering the ignominy of appearing twice side by side and always in the background.

Cheers. I did it in about a week over Easter, maybe a hundred hours, probably a little more. It was a mad rush and a learning project so I got faster as I went.

Happy to say it got a good response at Botcon especially the safety orange.

And it seems the orange is still favourite.

40+ hours modifying Thundercracker and the same inserting Erector (that phrasing is bordering bad places) and its the 30 minutes I spent with some orange digital paint that people mention. *sigh*
