Arrived today at noon from Kapow. Very nice it is too. ;D
Surprised at the tank size, when I saw a redecoed Banzaitron in The Entertainer a while back I thought it was much larger. Mine came loose, complete, brand new but made me think that Hasbro's packaging like a lot of toy firms is pretty wasteful - Lego take heed!
Mine didn't come with instructions so its nice to find out how to change my robots without them - on the whole instructions to Transformers aren't that good thesedays.
My favourite parts of engineering on it have got to be the tank turret/hidden smaller katana sword in sheath - I like the gearing and axle arrangement in there. The waist was a bit of a pisser to figure out how it clipped together but a later look as seibertron.com's gallery to see if I'd figured out the lower rear legs properly made me realise why Bludgeon's head was slipping back into his torso...a quick press in and bingo.
Finally I'm surprised even more that ROTF Lockdown is the same size as Bludgeon, given his car modes small its amazing such a large robot squishes into that.
I now wish Generations Thunderwing and Skullgrin had been Bludgeon's size, Thunderwing more so. Hope they do another T.W. and make him Voyager sized.
I do actually wish Bludgeon had a removable helmet/mask, then a more robot face underneath the boney one.
Overall, 10/10.

Yeah I absolutely love this figure, prob my fave of last year. I find he works very well in my 'Classics' collection.
