Every few days when I read the daily paper one story keeps on cropping up - that of some youths hanging themselves in Bridgend. The papers claim that the internet is responsible for this recent suicide rate but I'm not so sure. Seeing as Nigel comes from Bridgend maybe he can shed a bit more light on this subject.

I wish I could. Like most people, I just don't know what to make of it.
A few days ago, an expert said that according to statistics, the suicide rate isn't actually any higher than eleswhere. (Suggesting, I suppose, that the media just happens to have picked up on it.) Two more have died since his statement; these two were cousins and it's unclear if there was any connection beyond that or to the other deaths.
