Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Commander Sentinel Prime
Sentinel Prime is a major new character for the third Transformers Movie. Or so I'm told. His vehicle mode is a mainly red six wheeled fire engine with a black cab and wheels. Attached to the roof is what might be a ladder.... or a water cannon that rotates to the sides at it's base. On top of the ladder/cannon is a lengthways mounted 3mm bar that will let you attach c-clip weapons/accessories to the toy. Unlike the other three wave 1 Cyberverse Commanders Sentinel Prime comes with no additional C-clip device to attach to him.
Transformation: unpeg the sword which is underneath the vehicle noting which holes the tabs pass through. Split the silver roof of the vehicle in two and pull out to the sides, removing the cannon and it's base. Pull the front of the vehicle forward slightly then split the cab in two folding it and the tops of the sides of the vehicle outwards. Fold the head up, split the rear of the vehicle in two to form the legs then rotate each leg 180 degrees at the knee. Look at the underside of the vehicle and fold the feet down: they're VERY stiff on mine. The sides of the vehicle now form the arms. Rotate at the shoulder so the side with the black markings faces up. Fold the arms down to the sides. Rotate the cannon/ladder on it's base and unfold the base to form a shield. Fold the roof onto the robot's back and fold slightly to the sides to form wings. Place the sword and shield into each c-clip hand.
Sentinel Prime's long legs make him the tallest commander. The red and black of the vehicle are carried over to the robot mode. He's got ball joints at the knees, hips and shoulders plus bending elbows. Unfortunately the left elbow on mine is fatally weak not even holding it's own weight unless it's wedged as far up as you can get it. The right elbow is fine on mine though. There's no 3mm bars on the toy itself, so there's no fun to be had adding extra bits onto him.
I can't get excited about the character and the toy is weakened by the dodgy elbow on mine.
