The mind boggles. I know Bludgeon is a popular dude, but I had no idea he was worth this kind of scratch. -Nick

Going back to those 'mock up' items, I'm loving the phrase 'amazing wall power'.
I can't help but think those things look dead easy to fake; that micromaster just looks like a sloppy kitbash.

Bludgeon toy never had a sword... Even better was one a few days earlier that went for more, but didn't have his hat!

It never had a sword?! MADNESS!!!!!
Now I shall have to wonder where my Bludgeon acquired his sword from.

I thought he had a sword too, but TFU.INFO concurs he has none!

"Generations" also supports the "no sword" position as well. It seems somewhat absurd, to go to all the trouble to give his pretender shell a full suit of Great Armour, complete with helm, and then not include a sword. Almost madness.

None of the small Decepticon Pretender toys had the melee weapons they had in the comics [Bludgeon's sword, Octopunch's trident and Stranglehold's spiked ball on chain]. They're still great toys though!

I think I paid around $50 or $60 at BotCon one year for Bludgeon. Not a particularly great toy, I just wanted him because I liked his UK and US comic character.

Hmm. My Bludgeon and Octopunch are both complete and I've never really noticed that they don't have the comic weapons. Ho-hum.

I still need to know where my Bludgeon acquired a sword from. Perhaps the chap I bought it off knew a rifle was a poor choice of weapon and substituted it.

Is it a Weirdwolf sword?

Nope, it is or was a silver coloured sword, most of the paint has flaked off it though.

Just a-wonderin'.
I remember seeing a lot of Bludgeons with Weirdwolf swords at things like Memorabilia and car boot sales and the like.

I had no idea those guys missed the weapons they had in the comic! They seem such a distinctive feature of the characters!

I still need to know where my Bludgeon acquired a sword from. Take a photo if you get a chance, see if anyone recognises it. My Bludgeon has Doubleheader's gun instead of his own, so I'm sure it'll cost me a fair bit if I ever bother to try to complete my Bludgeon.

I know mainland European TF fans are used to paying over the odds (although that may change as the dollar heads south) but this fella on eBay Italy seems to be wildly optimistic: You may want to sit down before viewing. At the current exchange rate, including shipping that's 305 quid. -Nick
