Cor blimey, the price are a bit steep for knock-offs.

Yeah, but he accepts offers. I've asked him how much postage for Gnaw is, and then I'll try a cheeky offer. I'm not going near Metrotitan, as that's the official one pictured, the knockoff might look crap. Gnaw looks spot on though.
Although a cursory glance on eBay shows the official Gnaw to be a lot cheaper...

Why is Metrotitan $5 LESS than Gnaw?
If the build quality is good and he comes with the Micromaster ramp connector, I'd say go for it. He's a great looking figure and the ability to connect to Microbases adds so much to the base mode.

I have always* wanted a Metrotitan of my own! £46 is not too bad, if it's a faithful reproduction.
Will he also come with his Micromaster, does anyone know?
*Well, since I first learned of his existence.

Will he also come with his Micromaster, does anyone know? No. Initial word was that it's basically going to be Metroplex in Metrotitan colours, without any of the extras included with Metrotitan. That might change. Also, Hasbro has been asking sites selling the current crop of bootlegs to stop selling them, which could lead to them being taken off ebay at some point too.

I hope so. You can't move for them since the film came out.

Protoforms were selling rather poorly last summer. I sold a loose one on the weekend, sans weapon, for £10.50. How odd.

He's also asking for $1000 for the Botcon 05 set, which is still available direct from the club website for a fraction of that.

You can still get them for 35 quid on Yahoo Japan if you're willing to pay and to put in the hours watching for them. They usually appear boxed, too.

The headmaster heads?
I'd love to pick them up some day, especially Kirk. For the childish reason that I love the idea of a TF called Kirk.

Yeah. They don't crop up as often as they used to (perhaps the supply is finally drying up) but there's usually at least one about most weeks. They usually finish around Y7000, I find. Ludicrous for what they are although they do seem genuinely rare. Not quite $270-a-pop rare, right enough.

Ouch! That's pretty dear. Doubleheader and Pincher seem to go for similar sums.

Ive seen a few Thundercrackers sell for that price. ( Ive been hankering for crackers and egg fried rice.) Over Christmas I saw three in the UK go for about 100 pounds. I know 100 pounds for a small toy its as crazy as it sounds. Pound for pound those three seekers are the most expensive things I own. (something something something and something something... erm bone.)

Tony- I think sellers like that are just out to get the new folk who watched the film, think 'Transformers were awesome back in the day!' and run off to eBay without knowing what anything's worth. Andy- if I'd known they'd appreciate like that I might have held off selling mine -Nick

I currently have listed, a Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver LED Torch. Someone just asked me if it does anything else besides have a light. What does he want it to do, open doors?
