What was with the bizarre affection Hasbro had for turquoise in the early 90s?

It was found in a warehouse? Id love to hear the full circumstances of that.
And they used teal plastic then painted it almost entirely purple, weird.

I think I'd be a bit wary of "prototypes" "found" in a factory in China. Judging by Motormaster's price, others are less concerned. Yowza.

I've often wondered if a photo in robot mode would be okay, but I've not had one to sell to try it.

Well I removed the pic but was delisted again!! Do not want to be black listed so have written them an email asking why The message says if the item can be sold it will be open to relisting which it was - it would be just deleted if the item cannot be sold, suggesting it was the pic in the first instance but confused now

Ok its official - seems you can't sell G1 megs on ebay at all - full stop - reply below SOOO - if anyone wants it here, make me an offer guys and gals
Anywhere - here is what Ebay told me Hello, Thank you for writing to eBay. My name is Brock and I appreciate the time you have taken to write to us. I have reviewed the listing in question and have determined that it was removed correctly according to our site policy. Please understand that our policies on prohibited items are concerned with the actual items themselves, not on how they are listed. Thus, as long as the actual item is in violation, it cannot be listed regardless of how it is advertised or worded. Please be aware that replica, imitation and look-alike firearms may not be sold anywhere on the eBay site. This includes, but is not limited to,airsoft guns, cap guns and all other toy and replica guns that resemble any current firearm, regardless of their ability to fire a shot. As the toy gun you were selling could transform and resemble an actual firearm, it was in violation of our policy and needed to be removed. Wemust, therefore, respectfully ask that you refrain from relisting this item on eBay in the future. Recently we have taken a harder stance against replica firearms (including toy & cap guns) due to recent events and for the safety of the eBay community. I'd like to take the time to thank you kindly for your patience and understanding in the meantime. As always, should you have any further issues, please write back and we will be happy to investigate further onany matter. Kind regards, Brock LanderseBay Customer Support

I just sold an Armada Super Optimus, missing the platforms and some other pieces, no Sparkplug, weapons nor instructions and with corrosion in the cab battery compartment, hence a starting price of 99p. It sold for £16!

Not bad Nigel. I ended up giving mine away. Such a disappointing toy. Probably the worst Prime toy since the start. Star Convoy doesn't count as he's not a Prime.

I got a complete one on my to trade list! Hate it. Such a disapointment. It was the first Prime I'd gotten in a while. 16 squid...

Meanwhile, the complete RID Prime (albeit with some chrome wear but with the instructions) went for just over £10, the starting price having been £9.99. An Armada Hoist (no Refute) actually went for a bit higher than that, and I've really struggled to sell him in the past. What a topsy-turvy place this post-movie world is.

Should see what some of my minicon lots went for ! Micron Booster 0 Rod & Atlas 37 Micron Booster 1 (all 12) 26 Micron Booster 2 (All 12 inc Chase) 66 Micron Booster (11 standard ones) 26 Cybertron Minicons 21.01 Universe Minicons 10.5 And for my next trick I'm going to list my Dimension X stuff. Seperate items, several lots (first 4 then the rest) or one big lot What do you think ? You shouldn't struggle to sell Hoist. He's great.

Yeah - I had Masterpiece Megatron up on ebay a while ago and it also got pulled.
What annoys me though is that if you look -you can still find MP or G1 Megatron selling - it seems a bit random and arbitrary - they pull your but others get away with it.
Not to mention the sillyness of it...
But I guess in this PC age they are covering their backs. Imagine the headline : Boy shot dead by officer who mistakenly thought the toy gun he bought off of ebay was real"
Sounds farfetched but ebay would catch hell for it - like "there ought to be a law! I mean! You can't just be allowed to buy ANNYYTHING on ebay" ...
I personally think it's silly, but I understand why companies do it - dumb laws spawn fear.

Take a look at this chap's last six listings, then ask yourself, "why?"
