The more I fiddle with the toy the more I wonder why neither version uses the back of the car for the front of the legs. This might have been a mold to try the doors that the legs fold through on - all Cybertron Skids and other End result would have ended up looking a lot like Alternator Prowl I think. Would have worked I think, but I actually like the design as it is. The "disco flares" look somehow seems apt for Sunstreaker. Been fiddling about with Universe Prowl this afternoon (was watching "The Shield" so somehow a police cruiser transformer close at hand seemed apt). They really have gone above and beyond the call of duty with the homage factor - the missile launchers, although their single piece and don't fire, have a firing tab designed into them to echo the old diaclone design. That demonstrates a frightening level of thought going into that aspect. (I like the fact that the launchers can fold completely away as well - it is a nice wrinkle to the design). Not sure why his rifle has a carrying handle _underneath_ the barrel though - seems somewhat impractical. Unless it is intended to be used to carry the rifle in folded mode for some reason. Karl

A last load of stuff arrived from Yahoo Japan last week. I hadnt planned to buy more but I really wanted Crystal Convoy and I finally found a cheap Cyb (well Galaxy force) Metroplex and Voyager SS two in fact plus a load of others that came with them. The price was fairly cheap considering how much arrives. Oh yeah these two were part of the lot but I have no idea what they are? Andy

Did you happen to have a spare Strafe body kicking about anywhere, Andy?

Flywheels is brilliant! I have an appreciation for it I lacked when I had one as a nipper. I must have Battletrap!

Yes they are, the Shark dude is Shark Leaguer- for want of a proper name, and the other one i have no idea of the name, thought it was GunCaesar but that's completely different.

I feel I should be kicking myself about now. I've seen enough stills of the Gransazer stuff that I really should have recognised them.
Didn't know that Konami was one of the backers for the show though. That is interesting.

Probably, looking at the designs. Battletrap shall join the house of Burns at some point.
I do have a soft spot for the Duocons.

Picked up Encore Ratchet and Ironhide at AA. I have decided that they will stay in their boxes until the day I get offered a job, at which point they shall be freed from their cardboard/plastic prisons as a nice 'well done' treat. I've waited over 20 years to get my hands on these toys/characters. I can wait a little longer.

Remember that Dark Scorponok I missed out on at a car boot sale the other week? Well, yesterday I got one in a collection I bought off eBay, along with Evac (one of my most wanted Cybertron toys), Hardtop (complete), Boba Fett and a full set of the Micromaster Aerialbots.

It wouldn't be an Energon repaint of a certain character of which Ian is fond, would it?

It is indeed SWAT Prowl. Big thanks to Phil for making them available. I much preffer him in these colours. Deffo more Prowly! And his combination form with Checkpoint is the only Superpants combined form I've ever liked! Prob 'cos they're the same colour. So glad i got both!
So, not many Prowls to go now. I'm not counting any of the many recolours of mini-cons. And I can live without Decoy 'cos it's not a transformer as such (although I'd get one if one was available).
I think that just leaves my beloved Titanium...
Not long 'til the end of the world, Doc'!

I'm sorry, Shockprowl. The world cannot end until you have collected every Prowl. Including decoys and mini-cons...
You need every Prowl. You want every Prowl.
Do it. Do it.

Do we have any official sales figures for Prowl in the Yorkshire area? I bet he sells more figures than any other TF toy.
