I bought Weirdwolf at the weekend. He's great. I never knew his tail was his sword.

I picked up the last of the Real Gear moulds today with High Score. He's rather fun, and has a waist joint that appears to have been installed for no reason other than to allow him to thrust his pelvis. So bonus points there.

Received from the ever generous karl Reissue Skids and World's Smallest Prowl. Skids has a special place in my heart as he was my joint first ever TF toy along with Brawn. My old Skids is in a very poor state. But now he is reborn! G1 looks great next to Alt Skids. As for Prowl, well he has really kick-started my Prowl collection. Amazed at the detail on him!

Damn you, Stella. -Ralph Ah, you see this is one of those occasions when Stella turns from being "Wife-beater" to "Husband-beater", when I arrive home late afternoon after lunch with my mate, via Toymaster, with a new TF and get attacked by the normaly tranquil Mrs Shockprowl!

Armorhide is quite nifty though. I picked up mine whilst perfectly sober. Wasn't planning on getting any more movie toys but he is such a nice little mold that I felt that it was worth the picking up.
Glad to hear that Skids and Mini-Prowl are settling in, Shockprowl. Mini-Prowl is probably glad of the chance to stretch his legs. He has been in stasis in a box for about a year so the exercise will be doing him good.

Toady I purchased Best Buy metallic Ratchet and Megatron and the G1 movie Starscream repaint off ebay for about £70 shipped from the states. Very excited about the first two got SS because it only cost about £13 more than the auctions just for the other two and thought I'd try out the toy.

Received, free, of the generous Barricade a Lion Prowl yesterday. He's really rather excellant! I have a Magnaboss on the way as well, but I was desperate for a Lion by himself for my Prowl display! Well pleased! Thanks Barric!
World's Smallest Prowl was having a ride on his back last night, kept falling off though.

I will make it my life's mission to get Pretender Doubleheader. He is by far the funniest thing i have ever seen in the Transformers Universe. StrangleHold is a close second, but those two blank-faced, tacked-on heads take the cake.

Well pleased! Thanks Barric! I always thought the head on that looked too Prime to be Prowl - www.tfu.info/1997/Maximal/Prowl/prowl.htm in Japan he's Leo Jr - a relative of LeoConvoy - www.tfu.info/1998/Cybertron/LioJunior/liojunior.htm and they go the whole hog with the head ! There's some nice repaints of this around too.

Oh, yeah, I hadn't seen that, but he does have a very Primey face doesn't he?
But hang on chaps... Jumping straight into Shockprowl's top ten fave Transformers (prob around no. 8ish). MAGNABOSS!!!
He was waiting for me yesterday when I got home from the crazy-pit. Oh sweet Lord of Mercy, he's soooooo cool! Lovin' this fig in so many ways! Love the individual forms, and espec lovin' the combined form! His facial expression is mint! Grrrr! Top top fig. Want Tripredacus now to fight him!
Also recieved Energon Superion Maximus as well from anther source. Haven't had chance to give him a proper going over, but I've seen enough pics to know I'm gunna love this chap, and he's going to fit right into my "New G1" collection. If they do do a new Aerialbots team in Classics 2, I wont need it. This version is top notch. I'm in such a good place at the moment!

Superion Maximums never did a lot for me I must admit. I liked the two little F-16XL sort of looking guys, but I wasn't fond of the "X-Men Jet" look of Storm Jet or the two A-10's. Combined form was an exercise in frustration because I couldn't get it to stay standing up on my shelves for some reason. But good to hear that you are keen on them. Karl

They repainted the Japanese Micromaster combiner Sixwing as Superion in the Universe/Cybertron single packs round about the time Cybertron was coming out. Did a pretty good job duplicating the look of the original with a very different combination system, I thought.

Yes, I liked that mini-Superion. I don't own it, but have seen enough pics of it. I have the Protectobot and Constructicon sets. I think they're wonderfull, really well done, partic the Constructicons (all 6! Yeah!). I'd liked to have seen more of these sets.
Back to Superion Maximus, you wont be surprised to know I've renamed them with their G1 names! What I think I like the most about this set is useing Storm Jet as Silverbolt. I've always been a fan of Silverbolt, but I never liked much his original bio. I'm all for characters to have inner deamons etc, but his fear of heights didn't sit well with me. the Storm Jet mold I think is a powerfull looking mold, and it allows me to tweek Silverbolt somewhat, having him now put to rest his past fears and uncertainties and become a powerfull air warrior and commander. Ah the mind of Shockprowl is a wonderfull thing!
And oh baby am I lovin' Magnaboss! Grrr!

I got round to opening up the box of Kissplayers cassetes I got from Nick the other week. Hmmm. English Ravage is great and is even now pouncing on Brave Maximus's toes though the blue chrome on the legs shows signs of flaking already. Alas, orange Laserbeak and tat Eject have some quality control issues. Orange Laserbeak's weapons fit loosely in their holes and fall out with the slightest of movements, one of the legs won't quite snap back into place in tape mode. Tat Eject's head won't come up, no matter what I do. Perhaps these two moulds have passed the point of no return?
Thanks to Nick for them anyway for the grand sum of zero pounds and zero pence.

Eject's head won't come up? Sounds like it's caught on something. You did pull the shoulders apart till they clicked, yes?
You may not have paid money for them, but a price there was as evidenced by the pained looks that flashed across your coupon as you battled the Quiz of Doooooom.

Finally after many delays Best Buys Megatron and Ratchet have arrived. Still not sure about Megatron but it is much nicer than the other versions I've seen. Ratchet is a thing of beauty. Cant wait for Christmas to open it get the nasty wires out of the way.
Suffered some painful cuta action though. Got a bill last week for £45 couldn't understand how that was worked out (cost £67 from ebay with shipping and G1 movie SS) till today that is. For some stupid reason the value on the box wa put as $284.
WTF?
Moron seller.
Still Ratchet is very nice.

The rather splendid Mr. Barricade sent me a HUGE box of his unwanted Beast Wars toys, arrived whilst I was off injured. Cheered me up I can tell you! Keeping in mind I missed the whole Beast Wars era completely ('tis was my chasing girls phase), getting my hands on a whole loada BW toys was ace ace ace! And I really LOVE the figs! Amoung them were Megs, Primal, Cheetor, Rhinox, Rattrap, Waspinator, Tarantulus, Terrosaur and many more! Really impressed with the style of the toys, and their hidden weapons. Transformations are very nice also. Think prob my faves are Megs and Op. Love all of Op's weapons, and Megatron just simply looks WELL 'ARD! I also really love Longrack as well, he looks like a king in robot mode! Dead End is a wonderfull, creepy figure. And Tigerhawk is awesome with all his weaponary. Overall, I'm well impressed and I am now officially hooked on Beast Wars! Oh, Barricade, Mrs Shockprowl isn't very happy with you! She blaims your generosity for yet more toys in our home! Ahhh Ha Ha Ha!!!
