Got round to opening Trashmaster tonight. He's nicely imposing in robot mode with all his bits on, even if he has arseflappery going on that would cause Shockprowl to evacuate by the nearest window. A very suitable boss for the Junkion EVOFUSION team. I must now retrieve the others for the obligatory group shot.

Sad to say, Tow-Line has done nothing to dissuade me of my dislike of Weaponisers. It's all very well to say they can now transform without taking them apart, but I've not once done the transform with his arms popping off, either at the shoulder or the elbow. And he's not even supposed to come apart at the elbow.
This of course means that there's not enough friction in the shoulders to keep them pointing forwards, so his arms just hang limply at his sides 90% of the time, and the elbows are even looser? I don't know why he's got double jointed elbows either, the way his shoulders are built means you can't use them...
I like the colours and headsculpt, so I'm actually quite annoyed at how disappointing the whole experience has been so far.

After having problems when I ordered Diaclone Twin Twist from Hasbro Pulse in the sale months ago, with him never turning up, I was pleased to find him in Game the other day. I was a little grudging in paying £25.99, which I think was £10 more than Pulse, but happy to be able to get him in the end.

I don't really see the point of keeping Transformers in sealed packaging - you can't transform them! However, I do have a small number of unopened Transformers - either because I've somehow acquired a second copy or, in some cases, because I think the toy looks particularly nice or unusual in the box and I've purposely bought a second copy to display in-box. I've just got Ultimate X-Spanse and I have to say, I think this one looks really good in the box! But as it's big and pricey, I won't be be getting a second on this occasion - but I think I'll hang on to all the packaging. I got hold of a dirt-cheap second X-Spanse to display in all its minty boxed goodness! |

Quite a come down from 120 bangers asking price at the start.

picked up a v. cheap KO g1 smokescreen. was hoping it was the one that is basically bluestreak in smokescreen colours, but its one i haven;t seen before, with the smokescreen front bumper, but bluestreak rear windows without spoiler. poor build quality, it just doesn't sit together that well, i wonder if it was molded from a toy rather than a master mold.
