Well seems a little harsh, you knew it was likely marked up when you bought it and the total still came in at less than other Predakings on ebay or online stores. The fact the seller will have paid a few pounds less in fees by shifting some cost to the packaging might be the reason for the small saving you've made too.

I don't think it's that harsh. You usually expect sellers to offset stuff via postage slightly, but an extra £30 is taking the biscuit a bit!

I'm not saying its right just Im not sure what SF1378 expected.
On ebay right now or recently completed the current reissue Predaking is £112.50 plus £27.50 = £140 £132.13 plus £17.48 = £149.61 £103.51 plus £23.74 = £120.61 £0.63 plus £95.08 = £95.71 £79.98 plus £49.00 = £128.98 That be SF1378s one £87.68 plus £35.86 = £123.54 £103.51 plus £24.36 = £127.87
BBTS $185 plus $50 was it? Kapow £160
The total price was in the ball park and these are all BIN so clearly thats how much they cost with a profit margin through ebay. Yes the sellers clearly shifting the cost to maximise profits (more than I realised I assumed from the earlier posts the total would be less than most of the others on ebay not slightly more) but the total was clear to see and easy to compare to the other cheaper options.
Complaining after the fact because you chose the cheapest toy with the highest shipping does seem a little unfair on the seller (you could just buy from elsewhere) especially when the end result will be giving ebay an excuse to try using maximum postage limits and we all know how that move screwed up selling books and comics.

Yes slightly amazed that one wasn't stopped by ebay. Brilliant if the seller accidentally left "collect in person" as an option though.

Erm, your point being that I should have paid through the nose then? EVEN higher than paid? I like Predaking, never was able to get an original as Hasbro UK in their not so infinite wisdom never released either the gift set nor individual Predacons over here even though they were extremely popular in the comics here... This reissue only came out in 2010. Its NOT over 20 years old so I am sickened by the mark ups dealers put on what is essentially a luxury to me to buy with a disposable income. Even then, I'd rather buy at the best price. This seemed the best option and hence I bought and paid for it. If the postage had been roughly the same as quoted when I saw the packaging and stamp then I'd be happy with the seller, but the shit marked the price up via the postage instead of being truthful with me the buyer. So yeah, I am pissed with him. If he'd quoted an honest price I'd not be angry. He took the biscuit with his shipping being double when it clearly wasn't, ergo he's got negative feedback. And I'll get my money back. I don't think it's that harsh. You usually expect sellers to offset stuff via postage slightly, but an extra £30 is taking the biscuit a bit! Thanks for YOUR comments Blueshift.

Thanks for YOUR comments Blueshift. According to ebays rules the guy is in the wrong yes, so if you want to complain you may have some success, but you aren't paying through the nose. You paid the going rate. 120-130 shipped to the UK is what it costs. The Japanese retail price was high to start with, the exchange rate with Japan has sucked for two years or more and shipping is expensive even when charged accurately. But by ebays own policy the buyer is expected to have fully read the auction when bidding so you should have known the shipping price and if you felt it was too high you should just have gone for an auction that worked out cheaper. Yep. I was mucking around with the Preds and the only gripe I have is Razorclaws stubby arms. Why o why couldn't they be more like Rampage's....Have yet to combine them into the god that is PREDAKING yet but it will be an event worth savouring when it happens....

My Autobot ehobby order was cancelled by Toy Arena after all the messing around, was very annoyed (not told there was a problem for three weeks and why even allow me to enter an address different to my billing if its going to get my order cancelled) But they'll be at Botcon so have it reserved for pick up then, so I save on shipping now. Yay..

E-Hobby Kup and Hot Rod are here.
The more versions of the Rodimus mould I get the more I find I like them, all except the first classics version, those colours combined with the limited articulation killed it for me. Ehobby Hot Rod looks really nice, doesn't look a thing like Hot Rod any more though. I might give it a pair of orange Hot Rod legs and use it as Skram. A second TFCC Sideburn would maybe work better for that.
Kups just awesome even with his big feet. Might have to get the replacement head though.

I just opened the ehobby decepticon pack. Wowee!
First time I've played with Scourge, what a toy. Sadly a little short but in every other way brilliant. Oh except I daren't apply the force needed to put the gun in either hand as I'm certain the hands would crack under the pressure.
Galvatron is finally all purple, but even here ends up in two tone purple so the cannon arm still looks a little odd. Its and the tank bits are in a lighter purple and the rest of the robot mode parts in a very dark purple so it looks like the arm has faded due to sunlight. The other arm still falls off when looked at too, but finally it looks like Galvatron.
Cyclonus is as always amazing. As its essentially hollow and translucent the jet mode looks crazy.
Easily better than the Autobot set. Yet the autobots have sold out everywhere. Still not sure whether its the blue Hot Rod, or the exclusive Junkion sculpt. I'm sure its not Kup even though I do think its the best of the bunch.

The weekend saw the Internet light up with reports and reviews of the new DOTM toys.
Chris, I'll be interested to see what you think of Megatron!
I may duck out at lunchtime to day and scout for some Cyberverse.

I will be strong, none of the new figures have really pressed my buttons, but I may be tempted to get Cyberverse if it is cheap enough.
