I got CUTA'd from my Jetty parcel frigging hate the customs people It's almost that time for me. He's been kindly holding onto the Chaos on Velocitron boxset and a bundle of World of Nintendo 4" figures for a couple of months while I wait on series 6 of the Nintendo figures being re'released to complete the collection. They've gone passed their release date so it looks like they've either been canned or pushed back indefinitely.

£14.04 for the latest two Diaclone sets DA-11 & DA-12
£37.72 paid to HLJ
Total cost = £51.76
I'm winning though cos importers want £60 + postage..... but £50 isn't worth it for what I'll get!

First CUTAing for a long while. Sadly the chinese seller for my most recent Go! purchase listed the figure at retail value on the ticket and not the $20 that most usually put. So I've got me an exclusive black Gekisoumaru, but the £41 it cost has just had £16 added to it. BAH!.

Your parcel is currently with the customs authorities and is being assessed for import duties and local taxes. These will be notified to the addressee and usually need to be paid prior to the parcel being delivered. Item tracking history Date Time Location Tracking event 2/10/2018 13:18 International Hub Awaiting Customs clearance

My last 2 CUTA charges have been £99 and £102 from BBTS.
My next one should be about the same. It hurts....

Ouch. I'm eternally grateful to the various Chinese eBayers I've bought from and their tendancy to just mark everything as $10 (which realistically should be throwing up way more warning bells when you're talking about a big MP36 sized box). Although amusingly they even did it with the £1.50 flight stand I bought.

Moment for a quiet chortle.
Mrs P has just been CUTA'd on a present she bought for a relative from America. This is her first experience of this and I had to explain what's happened. She is not happy about the £8 collection fee!

I was anticipating an import tax refund on Punch because of the amazon.com muck up with the postage - it was taxed on the incorrect post price and not the corrected post-free price. Finally came in, so because they removed the postage instead of putting it to what it should be like I asked, Punch eventually cost £24.44 in total. Small CUTA related victory.

It is quite a big batch of stuff from BBTS. A couple of exclusive Storm Mortal Kombat figures that werent stocked here, the latest wave of 4" World of Nintendo figures as they seem to be the only site that stocks every wave as its released, translucent Quake Wave, Kotobukiya D Style Skywarp and Thundercracker model kits, batch of TF stickers and trading cards for Murray, Figma Virtua Fighter figures, Mecha Nations translucent Megatron and Starscream, Super Mario t shirt and about a dozen other bits and pieces.

By the time I ship my Pile of Loot it's usually around $600 worth which is about $100 to ship and about $100 through customs so allow a percentage on top of each thing I order to make sure I can't get it cheaper here, this shipment has 27 items in it and the previous had 25 so it averages to £5 or so per item. Most of its either stuff I can't get here anyway or on sale.
