I've just had a $169.21 parcel sent from BBTS ($219.45 after postage). Guess how much I'll get done for ! The tracking information for the parcel reveals that at 18:54 yesterday the packaged went "Into Foreign Customs" duh Duh DUH !

PCP's and Cyclonus' cutaing paid for. With the group the news I thought I'd share. I have to say that it worked buying more. Thankfully the shared price is more than fair.

And all that for a box of Legends repaints..... albeit quite a *BIG* box of US MOVIE Exclusive repaints of Universe Legends. Expect a few older reviews to return from the dead as I talk about some great recolours. And evil Wheelie.

Liz went to the post office. The post office wouldn't accept Liz's id, despite having taken it in the past, and wouldn't let her bring my parcel home.
NOT HAPPY.

Huzzah!
My 'to open' pile is sitting on my bed back home- a lego Star Destroyer and Millennium Falcon (no, not the giant one- the one before that). Unfortunately I got it from the States (thinking I would save a few quid) and got CUTA'd like I have never been before. As soon as I get home I owe my dad £84!

Eighty.... four? YE GODS, MAN! I have never heard of such an extreme CUTA! Hardly makes it worthwhile with that kind of ransom. Back when the God Ginrai reissue came out, Alan ordered one for himself and one for me from HLJ. When the packaged arrived they demanded a CUTA fee of £120. We knew something was wrong, but had to pay it to get the package before we could query it with HMRC. Turns out they'd misread the value and charged VAT on 120,000 Yen instead of 12,000 Yen, and it took a good 2 months with a few chasing phone calls before we got a refund.

I've never been charged more than £20 on CUTA, though I usually only buy low-priced items, so it still bloody hurts

I've been charged £25 a couple of times in the past. One was a box of two God Ginrais I ordered from HLJ (when they were knocked down to £13) and the other was a box wave of Streetfighter 2 toys from BTTS.
The average CUTA I've had to pay in the last 5-6 years has ranged between £11-19.
Nothing RULES about CUTA. Enjoy your Star Wars goods, Nick.

My record before this was £80, although that was £80 each for two boxes that arrived on consecutive days from the fan club store. It was pissing down when I went to pay, too.

I would imagine a similar amount to be waiting for me when I call Parcelforce in a second to release Rodimus, if so, he shall hence forth be known as Rodmyarse.
