Oohh nice, thank you. I've been waiting ages for the Hot Soldiers and Mech ones. I may well get this Irontrans version. £22 on eBay at the moment. Already have Harry. It's worth noting that Harry is smaller than the 'normal' 3P Legendsy scale that seems to prevail. Superb little figure. Their Bluestreak and Smokescreen are out, for any Bluestreak or Smokescreen fans. And have you seen their Megatron? Looks sensational!

I don't get these tiddlers, but I was going to make an exception for the New Age Megatron because he looked perfect. I want the toy colours version though and I never saw that one anywhere to buy.

Oh damn. That looks good. Luckily I don't have the spare cash to spend on that right now. But it does look good.

I just know as soon as I plop down the money for the thunderclash version, Hasbro will announce a perfect version for $50. And if I don't, it's a character they will never touch.

Do it. Do it for us. Your sacrifice will be honoured. (Well. As much as we honour anything here.)

Seriously tempted, even at that price. This and the Megatron they're doing would be a lovely Masterpiece Armada display.

Aww man, somehow I was expecting Megatron's robot mode to match Prime's combined mode. I suppose this is right for the original toys? is it? I'd have to get them out not to check, but this is disappointing. Megs will look diddy next to Super Prime. Unless I suppose you displayed the smaller Prime with his base next to Megatron's robot. That might work. Man I need to watch Armada again, I can't remember how it all goes.

That's bigger than Optimus, compared to Armada. The regular optimus was the same size as Megatron.
The idea was that Megatron had no problem grabbing and using every minicon he could get ahold of, making him too powerful one on one. The autobots wouldn't use minicons against their will, and thus never had as many. Optimus was to counter the overpowered megatron with his super mode.

I was really into it back then, I've almost got a complete set of the toys.

Still does not compute. This MP styled Megatron is going to be just over 20cm to his head, which will make him smaller than the original. Bzzzzt... Crrrzzzzzzt...

What!
Armada's the good one. It's Energon where it goes off the rails. Armada got me through a dark time, the series is tops. At least I think it is. It appears I can't actually remember anything about it.
Other than that it's good.
It is good.
It's good!

Armada toy line: Very good. I am sad all of mine is gone due to Life Stuff other than Unicron. Need to reacquire stuff.
Armada cartoon: salty balls! And I speak as a man who even owns the BEST OF ARMADA COLLECTOR'S EDITION DVD.

I've got the US boxed set releases of the whole Unicron trilogy. They will be watched one day. One day. Gobots first.

While I thought the show was poo, I am nostalgic for it. This was before youtube and streaming sites. I was still on dial-up so I went round to Nick's house each weekend to watch that week's new episode. Nick had dark magic known as 'broadband' and 'bit torrent'. We had fun watching it even though it was rubbish.

I would be very happy if a new TF series used Armada as it's base the same way they all unanimously and exclusively use G1 as their base.

Once broadband kicked in I was downloading vcd files of the Unicron trilogy and burning three episodes a disc to CDs that lasted in a binder all the way until I bought the sets. They all had neat labels on with the episode titles. I think I've got one of those discs left now, the one that had the Energon episode that wasn't shown in America. Scorponok's Scars or something.
