Ok, I was going for a Soundwave gag there but a traffic light tops that completely.

Starscream's spark finally got a proper Transmetal body! Hurrah! Gogglebox! That's actually a thing now, isn't it? Gogglebox has been a slang term for the TV for decades.

I can't believe Hasbollocks didn't give ER Prime a Roller. Shameful. Effectively inviting the 3P market. Well, seems Hasbro had something up their sleeve on that score. I'd been wondering if they were planning releasing him a la Brunt, with a new mold as a new and transformable character but no, accessory "DLC" assortment it is.

Reviews of Magnum have started to appear now he's due. I remember initially being shocked by the size of these figures, but now they've started to appear and I've seen them alongside other masterpieces, I'm happy the Special Teams are oversized compared to the earlier characters. I like the fact the Stunticons can loom over the car robots and menace them, that's what they were for. In this comparison the DX9 one is just too small (middle). I like the X-Trans aesthetic (right), but I still feel Fans Toys (left) are unbeatable with figures generally.

They look nice, but I'd be too terrifed to actually touch them, let alone transform or combine them...

Indeed. Although it's all a bit IDW, I do like that company's output. I was seriously tempted there for a moment, if I bought rubber gloves to handle them and sealed them in an airtight case, but the purple chrome on the hands a feet put me off. Oddly. The rest of it is very nice.

Not sure if this is an enhanced KO or an original mould, but it's interesting to see 3P reaching into Prime /

Nice looking figure, but boy I forgot that TFP is the single most boring Megatron design of them all.

I just know if I bought that, Hasbro would announce the one we know they have the next day. And if I don't get that, the official one will go the way of so many Unicrons.

So I got in today Iron Factory's Heat Death (legends scaled TM2 Megatron) and MMC's Ocular Max's TFCon Doccat (MP scaled Glit)
First for Glit. MMC is usually really good stuff but boy do I not like this. It's MP scaled, so I thought this would be perfect for Classics? The MP cassettes usually are. But BOY IS THIS A DOOZY. He's 1:1 scaled, not MP. If that were it, okay. But the engineering is a nightmare. It's needlessly complex and an unstable mess. His torso and neck are composed of two halves that have nothing to tab them together. Most of his instability is to give him as much articulation as possible. However he lacks the ability to look up.
Megatron is a blast. Haven't transformed him yet but he's a gorgeous little toy. Little bigger than I hoped, but he works. (Glad I cancelled their samurai lio prime. If he's the same size he's be way too big). He's just a head shorter than Siege Reflector. A little too big, but reasonably within the ballpark for TM2 Megs. Good articulation, great sculpting. Only complaint is he should look organic. Not a fan of the trend of removing the organics from our beasties.
He's a great edition to a G1 Classics. Can't wait to put him with Generations Tankor.

Yep. Think I'm going to need this. The missiles on the posts are sprung loaded and fire and the treads on the trailer move.
