Which TF do you think has the coolest box art? My money has to be on Stalker - check that Frank Miller-esque leg action coupled with a laconically posed missile!  The angle counts for a lot though - look how cooler he is in this shot:  |

Actually, I've always liked the 87/88 era of boxart the best. Even the Firecons looked awsome in those.

You know, I have never really taken a close look at the Grandus box art before.
That is really quite striking stuff. Really goes all out to sell Grandus in terms of size and power. I rather like that one.

That Grandus piece is incredible! I've never seen that before. Astounding. It is amazing. No other piece of boxart* for a single character has such scope and scale to it. Different, but either it's the same guy, or the guy on the right is copying the guy on the left.
It looks like if some executive looked at the left piece and said "I like it, but it hides too much of the toy."
Not sure which piece is Convoy and which is Prime, though (the "optimus prime" box doesn't help as much as you'd think, given how much these pieces have been reused)
