I'm finding that some of my video files are playing with an odd green tint to them - mpeg and ts files (based on mpegs). I get the same results in windows media player and vlc so I'm guessing the codec is at fault. VLC reports the codec used is MPEG-1/2 Video (mpgv). Any idea where I can download a working replacement? I've installed a new codec pack ( download.cnet.com/Media-Player-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-10749065.html ) but still no joy. Any ideas?

To add: I know the video files aren't at fault: they play fine on another machine
I know the monitor isn't at fault either: XVid encoding plays fine.
