I had a Commodore 64 and I'm gutted I never came across this game. I can't believe Zzap only gave it 40%, I used to always get Zzap.

I had (and still have) this game. I remember buying it from Toys 'R' Us. It wasn't until years later that I discovered there was a technically superior game from Ocean (and years later still that I actually owned it), one which doesn't crash every time like this one. I always thought that I had lost the game when it crashed; I had no concept of crashing back then. It was one of my favourite games, though, if only by virtue of it being Transformers. Come to think of it, it is possibly the only first-person-perspective shoot-em-up I owned.
