Is the price hike a consequence of BMI pulling out of Cardiff Airport?

Sorry to hear that, but the main thing is that you come at all. It will be a shame that we can't spend some time down in fair Cardiff, I was rather looking forward to it. Thank you kindly for your offer of accommodation, even if circumstances have considered against our being able to take you up on it after all. The offer was very much appreciated nevertheless. I don't know, it was Flybe quoting the cheapest price as they have done on several previous occassions, it was just a bit higher than I remember it being previously. Might be a change in the amount of competition, might just be the general increase in transport fares. Karl |

Oh, I was looking forward to spending a day in Cardiff, but because of upcoming expenses for two weeks in the Channel Islands and a couple of other things I just wasn't in a position to afford it right at the moment.
I would definitely like to spend some time down Cardiff way again in the near future though.

RE: Cardiff. I love it down there and try to get down once a year. Very much enjoyed my week there last year. But with the consequences of decreasing wages, not doing if I will be redundant in June or not and a planned week in Ireland in a few months I just could not afford it this time. But hopefully later in the year!

Indeed, we are travelling down to Swindon on the Friday, getting in at about twenty to two in the afternoon and then heading back up to Scotland at about twenty to one on the Sunday.
(All timings approximated to the nearest five minutes or so..)

Liz was most distressed to hear about the scots boys being stuck on the train for so long. They may not be leaving empty handed in the food dept.
How many Scots should I expect? Is Nicholas joining us this year?
