I have a webcam but not Skype mainly because I don't really bother with that kind of stuff. Might try it one day though.

The chat works better than FBs.

Just have one contact abroad and you can really see the usefullness of it.

I have one of those headphone/microphone thingy's somewhere. I'll have to try and dig it out, get Skype on my PC and see what happens!

It was showing you as having video last night. You may find you didn't need the headset - there's usually a built in mike & speakers.

I have built-in mike, but for Secret Project purposes I needed a headset for better sound quality. Don't currently have a desk, so no point getting a decent desk mike.

I generally won't be on much during the week as I limit my computer time in the evenings. It'll be used mostly on weekends.

Well as I work 4-11 Mon-Fri. Aside from holidays or my monthly Tuesday off (as I have to work one Saturday a month) I'll be similarly on mostly at weekends.

Where in Hell did they get my Skype username from. It was either from one of two the forums that I've posted it on (this forum is one while the Nerdsphere is the other) or somebody on my friends list on Facebook has found it on my profile and has passed it on to them.
